A note from our founder
Why I started PackMule
Hi, I’m William, founder of PackMule TMS. Alongside building PackMule, I oversee operations for a midsize, family-owned OTR trucking company in Upstate South Carolina.
For years I have worked closely with professionals in the trucking industry and have seen firsthand the challenges drivers and carriers face every day. The pressures of rising fuel prices, fluctuating freight rates, increased maintenance costs, and the constant paperwork put extra pressure on those who are already working in a demanding field.
I started PackMule because I wanted to help others succeed in the trucking industry by giving them a tool that not only helps them run their business with ease, but also provides insights to help make the best business decisions possible.
The trucking industry is the backbone of this country and I want to do everything in my power to help those in it be successful. That is what we are working toward with PackMule.

Where we’re going
Growing thoughtfully.
We are starting with PackMule Owner Operator and building toward a family of four products: Company Driver, Leased Operator, Owner Operator, and Fleet. Each is intended to serve a different role in trucking while sharing the same focus on practical tools and straightforward information.
Owner Operator is being prepared for beta testing. The other three products remain in development. Our direction is to grow thoughtfully, improve through real-world feedback, and keep the people doing the work at the center of the product.
